Seems like he's well suited to the smaller machinery - maybe a sidestep to Moto2 or whatever the new 600cc class is??

I hope Cal gets on a superbike next year - he was faster than Sykes on a superbike - just had a tendency to drop it more often - and his spell in WSS seems to have stopped his crashing. I wonder if that is down to better team management than at HM Plant.

If Yamaha don't give him the superbike ride someone else will. I have also read the reports about 4 Aprilias next year (no 250's to run) 2 will be satellite. Yamaha may also be running 4 bikes - Suzuki will drop Kagayama, but want Toseland as do TK - where people go all depends on Lorenzo and Spies.

I hope he doesn't go to Moto 2 next year - with the bikes being new no one knows which teams will have good bikes. Besides the bikes will be more suited to ex 250 riders - the only thing they have in common with an SS bike is the engine - they are 23kg lighter run Dunlop racing slicks and a full prototype chassis like a 250.
