He can be a top rider in GP.If spies was from Nigeria and he rode the way he does I would enjoy watching it just as much.I doubted him before the season started, but ever since it did he made the SBK field look inadequate.NOBODY can win in sbk unless he crashes or breaks down. That says a lot. Either they all suck, or he is one of the greatest of all time. We will find that out over the next few years as well.

While we're all on here speculating about the title he is hard at work at the business at hand.

Kid's a Pro. That's a big diference between him and all the rest. His and House's approach to race craft is great to witness.

So what is the deal with some articles saying that if Spies races at Valencia he can go up to the Fiat bike next year and sort of snake around the rookie rule? Because it was stated originally that if he wins the WSB title or Lorenzo moves then he will go to GP. So if he wins the title he is automatically guaranteed a tech 3 seat and if Lorenzo is out then he's getting a Fiat seat? Has anyone read up on some of this as well?

Nevermind the FIM just stated earlier today you have to race 9 races in the previous season to not be considered a rookie. So if he is on a Yamaha it will be Tech 3 or possibly the Rizla bike but I think Tech 3 is the better way to go. Then Fiat in 2011.

He is a fantastic superbike rider, but I'll be astonished if he beats Lorenzo on a MotoGP bike.

Wherever you are next year Ben...Make sure Woody and House come with you.

I wonder if it is the same people who said you couldn't make it in WSBK who are now saying that you can't make it in MotoGP. No need to reply Ben....just let your riding talk for you like you have all year.

I won't gurantee that Spies will be an instant success if he goes to MotoGp, but I'll tell you.....give him some time and he is going to surprise quite a few people. This kid is got talent and desire!!!
