Perhaps he should ride like his job depends on it as there are many talented riders queued up who believe thay can do better.

If he finished in front of Haga just once (when Haga hasn't dnf'd) I would be satisfied.

Man... Please do what you can to finish in front of Haga or at least jockey with him a little so it isn't so easy for him.

Actually scratch that, just qualify high enough to give yourself a fighting chance to mix it up with them off the line.

Hopefully he has found something. He seems like a good guy, and really looked fast last year. Spies needs him to stop Haga and all.

The pressure is off Tom just a little now that Crutchlow looks set to go to Moto2 (his contract would have guaranteed him a place at Sykes' expense), but he's still riding to justify his seat for next year. Camier is on the way to WSBK, and one of the Tech3 MotoGP boys is also likely to be in the frame if Spies leaves. Competition for that second Sterilgarda Yam is going to be fierce.

Tom needs at least solid top 5 positions - and preferably a podium - to guarantee a renewal for 2010.

I agree VROB, and don't forget there are alot of angry AMA riders trying to get out of the DooM&Gloom series. So there will be more competition than ususal I would think.

If he could qualify well he could help keep the Ducati boys off Spies for a little while anyway. Progress, Sure and steady progress though!

Yeah they really messed up AMA SuperBike Racing.

What a shame.

Spies got out in the nick of time.
