I sometimes post using others names.

I suppose I could blame my parents or the government, but the truth is I do it because I have a small pen1s.

Hmmm, surprising to see Spies so far off the pace. Is it raining? I wonder if he's just focusing on setup or if there's a problem.

Congrats to Rea & Sykes. :)

It was definitely raining. There was one point on live timing in the middle of the session when everyone was in the pits. I'm taking that as heavy downpours. I'm only 1.5 hours away from the ring and that's what is was like here.

These two sessions meant nothing. Tomorrow and Sunday are supposed to be dry. That's when the fireworks will start...

Of course it's raining. Times are some 15 seconds off last year's pace. But I think Spies is just sandbagging - he was almost all session in the pits and in last few minutes he exited and secured his 13th position...

"he was almost all session in the pits"

He still managed 14 laps, which was about average. And 7 of the riders in front of him did even fewer laps.

Good to see Sykes at the sharp end for a change.

Step forward Mr Cooper...I know it's wet and all, but still if the weather doesn't improve tomorrow that'll be a hell of a qualifying.

Props to Sykes too - he's had a great first year so far and it would be really good to see him cap it with a few podiums.
