God I don't think I've ever seen so many posts from one guy with so many different names.

As for beating Spies on 'shear speed' there aren't any prizes for removing sheep fur sadly. Shame really because maybe Shakey would display more skill with the back end of a sheep.

Byrne better than Fabrizio? Not in this life. Ol' Shakes is BSB level and that's it. Sorreee, just an opinion.

Last year Xaus brought his own money to the team and the Flamminis paid for Biaggi's ride. The team don't have that money this year....

Tardozzi won't want to give Shakey a 3rd Xerox bike in case he shows up his little lapdog Fabrizio. Which he most definitely would...

This team was always going to be on the back foot this year. Because the money that got them near the front last year came from Biaggi and Xaus's personal sponsors.
The only suprise is that the people around Shakey did not do their homework properly. Or maybe they did and just decided to take a chance.
i'm just suprised it's taken this long to come to a head. :?

I DONT FOLLOW RIDERS JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE ENGLISH BUT SHAKY IS THE REAL DEAL AND ON A XEROX HE WOULD TAKE IT TO BEN ON SHEAR SPEED, DUCATI WILL HAVE THE DATA AND KNOW THE BIKE SHAKY HAS GOT. GIVE HIM THE BIKE HE DESERVES.

Because its not the same bike you muppet. Have you not read any of the articles and threads on here ?? The bike has had naff all spent on it all year, so its essentially a bog standard bike that started the season at Phillip Island.
Given that, Byrne has done extremely well to get the results he has so far.
On a full Xerox machine he stomps Fabrizio into the dust and maybe even Haga. He should get a 3rd Xerox bike next year to prove that point.

LMAO @ Nitro the muppet

At the end of 2008 you were telling us all how you knew that Byrne was on a Ducati factory contract with factory support, & he was going to show everyone up.

Now all of a sudden, the equipment is at fault, Ducati dont know anything about hiring riders, etc ... all the excuses when there's an obvious truth ... the team (& you) wishes he was as good as he thinks he is!

Well he obviously wasn't was he... 'Dice'...

Go speak to Whitham, Hayden, Walker, Wright and basically anyone else who knows what they are on about and they'll all tell you Byrne is class and is capable of far better than this year has yielded. People like Jamie Whitham and Colin Wright don't suffer fools gladly nor talk people up who don't deserve it, so why would all these respected experts be saying they feel Byrne would show his true ability on the factory Xerox if they didn't consider he was worthy of it ?

You are the one who talks b011ocks mate...

@ Nitro Nori

I agree with you 100%, just look at the potential Shakey did show on last years Sterilgarda bike(better spec bike that Xaus & Biaggi used) when the teams did testing in Portugal, he was heading the time sheets. That just confirms that given a good bike with the latest factory kit he can be up there with the best.

I cannot really see how anyone can disagree based on that evidence :?
