This is the first time I've heard Spies blaming other riders for his failure to turn in a result and it shows he's rattled. I'm not buying that it was Rea's fault that he couldn't challenge for the lead in race 2. Sure, Rea was wild today but he wasn't in front of Spies for that long and Spies was pretty ragged himself, running himself off the track while trying to pass Byrne.

frazzled, rea was a madman today. Its pretty hard to run with the leaders when you've been taken off the track twice!

Problem in the first race makes sense as well

Needs to fly at magny cours because Haga definitely will and he doesn twant to be relying on other people by the time they get to portugal

I really like Rea as a rider but he seems out of control lately,
pushing it too hard.

yeah MotoMan...Some Idiots fanboys excpect only race wins from Ben Spies. They don't even know how hard it is to fight every week-end in World Superbike.

Go Ben the tittle chase is not over yet
Go on Nitro you deserve it after so many years.

I just got done watching the races over here in the US. A few observations:
1. Spies Yamaha looked down on power it seemed, not a lot but enough. At least he came away with some points but he was not really a factor this weekend. Disappointing
2. The Aprilia has a beast motor and as good as Max rides it, to me I bet Simoncelli could definitely win with it with a few more races under his belt.
3. The Ducati's were unstoppable as well they should be since it's their own backyard track. Haga was brilliant as was Fabrizio.
4.It's starting to look difficult for Spies. But next race will be the tell all because if Yamaha shows as bad as this weekend their done.

2 very ordinary rides, by the next so called superstar of motogp.the most impressive, of the 2 races, apart from fab and haga, max, was marco, having his first ride in wsbk. and he showed spies what he will be up against, when the ben (lol)comes to motogp, if marco would of stayed on his bike the 1st race he still would of beaten him.i know which rider my money will be on to be a success, in motogp, and i am not calling him a superstar, and marco yesterday severly dented a few reputations, and there were no excuses from what i saw of the races. by all means boys come to motogp, to make up the numbers. because thats all it will boil down to. see yous when when you arrive. cheers . GO CASEY

OK, no problem being the one to ask this question, why is Rae being allowed to turn these races into a stock car event? Taking out Haga last race when he has no chance of the title and then almost taking Haga out again today, yet alone his scrapes with Spies. He should be banned for the final 2 races, just sayin'

I'm a huge Rea supporter but I have to admit he is too often out of control & a menace on the track.
