I am very pleased that Tom has got another opportunity on a factory bike for next season. After a very solid start to the season this year things have gone a bit down hill for him over the second half of the season. At least he gets another season to show the world what he can do. He will probably have his work cut out to beat his team mate but this is what he needs to aim to do first of all.

This is really good news Tom thoroughly deserves this ride after a good rookie season against world class competition.

It's good for Sykesy that he gets another stab at this class. MSS Colchester have demonstrated in BSB how the Kwackers can go when fettled nicely. Birdy will be getting factory support and top electronics, so CV and TS could be up there.

It's bad news for Shakey though. Another top ride gone and he's not on it. I read last week that Terry Rymer manages Shakey and Gary Mason, top privateer in BSB. Does anyone know if either of them has even a sniff of a decent bike in 2010 in either series? There was rumours surrounding Shakey riding a 3rd Ducati. Any inside information anyone?

Come on Terry!

Good news for the grinner, at least he now has a year under his belt, with experience of the tracks etc..He was always going to be in the shadow of the more experienced Spies this year. If you ask ex racers, those in the know etc.. most will say he's done pretty good this year.
Good luck to him and CV for 2010.

This a good move for Tom. Kawasaki have pulled out of Motogp and will put all their resources behind the superbike class. This is good news for the series and both riders, who are capable of winning racing. In summary it will make for an even better series in 2010, which unlike Motorgp will provide close racing and multiple winners...............surely that can only be good!............so give Tom Skyes and Kawasaki a break

Shakey must/hopefully have something special up his sleave, Ducati/Aprilia/Yamaha?? At least we know he aint riding for team gob$hite motor sport (which must be "good" news...... (unless he returns to BSB with Kawasaki..... can't see that myself tho) :)
