If he pulls this off you can be assured that Yamaha will reward him with a full factory spec bike next year.

I think you'll find he will have a "factory" bike regardless of WSB title win.
Although he cannot be in a works squad in his first season do you honestly believe Yamaha will let their latest big signing have anything other than full works support.

Man, this is freaking epic! I find myself full of butterflies every time I think of this upcoming round - so reminiscent of 2002 Bayliss/Edwards. I honestly couldn't guess which way it'll go - If I had to put my money down on who could win both races, I'd likely say Ben. However, Haga doesn't have to win BOTH races with his 10 point lead - one would do. And then there's Fabrizio, who has finally conceded the championship and who will start trying to help Haga (incidentally, nobody can blame Fabrizio for helping Haga out thus far. He's been fighting for his own wins until now - just look at the win he took from Haga a few rounds ago. Mind you, he did take Ben out once, too). Can't wait!

What a great end to a great season. As an American I'm pulling for Spies, but as a long time racing fan Haga as well. Can't wait till Sunday, it's going to be one hell of a race boys and girls.

like spies to win the title.
will be a hard battle.
spies will get next year full factory support.
so there will be 3 yamahas running the front.
spies will learn so quickly.
he will be doing top 5 right away

I carnt wait i am a racing fan over an individual fan but usualy 1 deserves it more so you would prefer them to take it, but this year i carnt choose both dreserve it. Just prey its just between them 2 and nobody else gets involved and no mechanical problems.

I want race #1 to end with the points battle a tie.

Race #2 can then be an all out fight...A one race showdown for the World Champioship.

full works machines?? RORFL

dream dream dream

even if he wins the championship and yamaha promise him a "works machine" itll be like elias's "works" honda which is a collection of bits pedrosa and dovi didnt like.

hes going to have to prove him self in motogp, you have to earn a "works" machine in motogp there not just handed to the latest arrival from WSBK no matter how good he appears to be.

do you think edward's "works" machine was the same as rossi's? when they were both at fiat yam ? ..no

sorry all you american spies fan boys .. i think your forgetting lorenzo and rossi in the yam pecking order!

What a HUGE hill to climb for Ben. He's pulled the double before and has tested here but Haga isn't going to roll over for him at all! This is going to be a great weekend. I just hope that it goes down to the last race and nothing happens in the 1st race to decide the title.

Good luck to both riders and let's have an epic weekend like Imola 2002!
