Why not Parkes!!!
He knows all th Circuits. He took on Camier in BSB only to be beaten in the last stages of the race due to the fact that he was riding a Krapasaki and Camier was in something similar to Ben Spies Bike.
Why Camier? Broc has done really well in WORLD SUPER SPORT not Just home town BSB. Let him test the Aprilla, he is small and compact not 6foot like a Giraff. We need to have some Aussies in there if this is to be a World Series.I am sick of the Yanks Verses the Brits.

Aprilia announced 2 to 3 weeks ago that they would not run a second team in 2010. They said it was because of lack of credible title sponsors with many of the well known names having scaled back their budgets until such time as the financial markets recover. They did say they were open to supplying a privateer team but so far nobody has been able to put finances in place to do this

Only politics or passport will stop Leon getting this ride!

He deserves it more than anyone after the weekend's display. I'll put my money on him knocking on the top 3 to 5 door in the test on race set up

Wolfy35 is right in what he says,Aprilia very much want to supply bikes to private team like they have done for a number of years in the 125 and 250 classes. They generate a great deal of income from leasing and selling race bikes, with the demise of the 250 class and Honda being the sole engine supplier for the GP2 600 that income has suffered. I for one, think it would be good for WSB to have at least one private team on Aprilia bikes next year

We were there all 3 days and the way Leon developed over the weekend was very impressive, especially considering he'd never been to the track before, and believe me its not going to be an easy one to learn!
Only one tenth behind Biaggi in raceday warm-up and finished 2 secs behind him, and closing, in race 2...a better grid position would have had him running with the front group in both races. You could tell by his body language at the end of the 2nd race that he had given it everything.
If he continues on the same path during the test he surely has to be in.......
