So as feared, Shakey Byrne has been f**ked over by the entire Paddock, despite reaching the podium in his first full WSB season, ending the season 8th and as the highest Privateer Ducati and scoring 2 4ths in Portimao, leading Portimao race 2 for over half of it and Misano race 1 for most of it - all on a bucket of Ducati spares...

What an absolute... complete and utter... disgrace...

A man who has served Ducati so well over the years an delivered them 2 prestigious BSB titles.

Absolutely disgusting.

Feeling your pain JC, but there's time yet, I believe Ducati want him, its a matter of placing him in the right team.

Instantly Impressive (and expected) from JT and Cruchlow there with Cal being pretty much as fast as Ben Spies within a few hours and JT being new to everthing and the bike less than a second off and nearly 1 second faster than ben managed in the Test here in January (his second).
What does this prove that JT and Cal are as good or if not better than BS? Or that the Yam is a great bike that has 3 great riders on it? Or they are both just lucky?? :p

Wow, those are impressive times. I think they were set on Q tires, though.

thought cruchlow would struggle i was wrong fair play to him but not for sykes, he proved he was fast last year but out of his depth this year. I think the kwaka is a mistake and should go back to bsb and re-group otherwise a big talant could be lost as your carear prob wont survive another bad year.

The 'right team' would be Xerox Ducati on a 3rd bike in my opinion. Haga is good. Very good in fact. We all know that. But he can't handle the pressure, is still inconsistent and will be 35+ next season. Fabrizio is also erratic and can't be relied upon to do what he's supposed to do. Byrne on the other hand is super fast, super smooth, hardly ever crashes and knows Dukes inside out. With Ducati having lost the title to Yamaha and with other contenders like Aprilia on the scene a 3rd Xerox bike for Byrne would give them a better set of odds for 2010. Even if Byrne didn't win outright (although I'm sure he'd be close) it would take points from the opposition.

Come on Ducati sort it out !!
