Can u imagine how much Haga didn't want to be here this week doing this.
"to be honest I just want to go home" sounds about right.

I agree, I feel bad for Haga. Pictures from Race1 and after race2 the man looks utterly dejected. I hope this lights a fire under him for next year. But after basically having 1 World title taken from him and losing this one because of a wreck I would hope that it didn't extinguish his drive.

Norichan understands as much as anyone how important testing is to any team but..

The teams need to understand that riders put everything into a race season and they need time to relax before starting the test build up for the next season lest they get so tired and weary that they burn out

I'm sure after losing such a close championship the last thing he wanted to do was stick around and test.

The guy is pure class though - He congratulates Ben on being World Champ on his website. :)

I would have to say the Nori will be the odds on favorite to win the WSBK Championship in 2010.

I aint betting against him that is for sure.

why is it that this guy (brilliant that he is)never seems to want to pick his bike up ?after he slips off ,other riders try to get running again ?might have been a point or two ,to be earned ,or was he just pissed off with his teams attitude ????

Anybody else get the feeling that the teams focus is turning toward Fabrizzio?

I'm with you pp916

I'm scared for Nitro about the next season,The way how Tardozzi talked to Fab after Portimao race 2 is fockin weird!

it's an Italian man riding in a championship managed by an Italian owner, on an Italian bike with Italian Tyres. They'll all be very pleased to see Fab World Champion!

09 was too early for watching Fab in the real tittle chase, but he was focused on Haga all season long. He tried to beat him as frequently as possible. Just for making credible his presence in the Ducati Corse team. When he said, "I'll try to help Nori at Portimao"
This pr1ck was LYING, just watch Portima R2

I bet on massive Ducati team orders if Fab will lead the championship next year.

You definitely have to empathize with Haga. To have come so close and walk away empty handed yet again would be a tough pill to swallow. But Haga is a professional and he will again be the man to beat next season! The problem is that you have some young sharks in the tank now that have smelled the blood, and witnessed his demise under the relentless pressure from Spies. And will be attempting to do the same thing next year. Of those pretenders to the throne, Crutchlow is showing me the most speed out of the gate with Rea and Fabs right there. The new found speedy and consistent Haga will be a formidable opponent though!
