New European Superstock 600 Champion Gino Rea staked his claim to a Yamaha World Supersport ride in 2010 with an impressive maiden testing appearance for the squad at Portimao.

Gino is one hell of a talent and, a name for the future! He looks meaner and leaner this year! Team managers, overlook this phenomenon at your peril!

Yet another strong talent appearing out of the the UK......where are they all coming from?

Gino is a great kid, bursting with enthusiasm....give him the right bike, point him at the track and he'll be top ten in WSS.

Gino is a great guy & after what is a very short time in this type of racing has succeeded on a Honda(not the fastest bike) against the dominant Yamahas. Hopefully a major team with a sensible budget will give him the opportunity to show us what he really can do.
