Apart from the (admittedly crucial) championship standings aspect, this ROTY result is difficult to argue against. Well done Tom Sykes on a superb season... and good luck for one better next year...

Tom Sykes: ROTR in the entire sport. I didn't see any other rider,in any series, over achieve like he did. Amazing performance

What a crazy result, the guy under achieved on the fastest bike in the championship. And before you all start bleating remember a young French kid beat him to the win on the same bike as a stand in rider

Uh Baz did a great job but if you think he beat Sykes you're deluded.

Whatever this pole & the TS knockers says the championship is about accumulating points and whatever you say about Tom he was beaten to the championship by 1/2 point and he didn't achieve that by riding badly.I don't hear anyone knocking the other Brit riders who failed to overtake TS in the championship. I love all racing on two wheels and everyone who lines up on the grid deserves support.
