Kurtis Roberts was unable to make his planned World Superbike debut at Brands Hatch this morning due to apparent "license problems".
The American, son of Kenny and brother of Kenny Jr, is due to replace Max Neukirchner on a Pedercini Ducati this weekend. Depending on how the weekend goes, the AMA Superbike race winner and former MotoGP rider could remain on the team's 999RS for the rest of the season.
However, Roberts didn't appear on track in Friday morning's first free practice session and
Crash.net was told that the delay is down to "license problems". The team are waiting for a fax from the AMA before they can get Kurtis out on track, which they hope will happen by tomorrow (Saturday) at the latest.
Ivan Clementi, riding the second Pedercini Ducati, was 12th fastest in first free practice.
