Corser meets Princess Anne

Reigning World Superbike Champion Troy Corser had the honour of meeting HRH Princess Anne this week when he attended the 10th anniversary reception of charity organisation Riders for Health at the Hurlingham Club in London.

The Princess Royal is the charity's patron and as well as speaking with the Alstare Suzuki Corona Extra rider, she also met former Superbike Champion James Toseland and some other industry supporters.

“She was very easy to talk to and she seemed to know about motorcycle sport because of the comments she made,” said Corser, “This was the first time I've ever met royalty and I was impressed with the way she was able to talk to all of us and also her interest and dedication to Riders for Health. I have been a supporter of Riders for Health for many years and will continue to do so for many years to come.”

Corser tried out an Uhuru - one of the Riders for Health motorcycle vehicles - in the Hurlingham Club car park. Being a true racer and bike fan, he managed to get the sidecar wheel off the ground without difficulty whilst taking Riders for Health's Andrea Coleman for a spin!
