Eugene Laverty has revealed he hasn't received any offers yet to graduate to the World Superbike Championship in 2010, but added he wouldn't be disappointed to remain in the Supersport category.

Almost a year on from when he made his Supersport debut with the Yamaha WSS team, former 250GP rider Laverty has established himself as a consistent front runner in 2009, taking the fight to Cal Crutchlow as they dispute the title.

Already a three-time winner with the Parkalgar Honda team, as the season reaches the latter stages, attention now turns to the future and whether Laverty will make his move to Superbikes in 2010.

Laverty, however, admits he hasn't been flushed with offers to make the switch next season. Even so, while he says would like to move on, he would be happy to remain where he is too.

“At the moment, I am happy in this paddock,” he told Crash.net Radio. “I want to be with a good bunch of guys that believe in me and can give me a bike to win races, so if I was to stay in Supersport next year it wouldn't be the end of the world.

“I would like to go to World Superbikes next year too, but I haven't spoken to anyone and I haven't had any offers yet, so it looks like I will be staying here.”

Additional speculation has suggested Laverty could return to the grand prix paddock by competing in the newly-formed Moto2 series. However, he rules out 'jumping into the deep end again'.

“A few people think I might go to Moto2, but I don't have an interest in it. It has taken a whole year to re-establish myself and I'm not jumping into the deep end again. If one thing isn't in place then you won't win races, which I know I can do. I'm not going there again to settle for top tens.”
