Aprilia testing hampered by poor weather

Max Biaggi, Leon Camier and Alex Hoffman complete just a handful of laps between them during testing at Misano
Aprilia's hopes of getting a jump on its rivals ahead of the 2010 World Superbike season suffered a setback when two days of testing at Misano were scuppered by poor weather.

The Italian manufacturer arrived at the circuit with Max Biaggi and Leon Camier in tow, the young Briton reportedly on the cusp of being confirmed as the team's second rider for the 2010 season.

However, foggy conditions and a damp circuit prevented either from conducting any mileage on the second day of action, although Camier and test rider Alex Hoffman did get short amount of running.

Aprilia will next be on track at Valencia on 9-10 December.

Meanwhile, you have voted overwhelmingly in favour of Camier receiving the second RSV-4 for next season, the newly crowned British Superbike champion securing 59 per cent of the votes. His closest challenger was Alex de Angelis on 21 per cent.

Leon Camier - 59%
Alex de Angelis - 21%
Other - 6%
Alex Hoffman - 6%
Ryuichi Kiyonari - 5%
Niccolo Canepa - 3%
