Troy Corser continued to send out warning signals to his rivals that he will be a threat for race victory at Assen after going fastest in morning warm-up around the Dutch circuit.
The third session the BMW rider has topped over the weekend, Corser, who will start on the front row for the two races, was a tenth faster than championship leader Leon Haslam.
A similar result to that of qualifying, pole sitter Jonathan Rea was third quickest and Jakub Smrz was up there again in fifth, although Tom Sykes raised a few eyebrows by lifting the Kawasaki ZX-10R up to fourth.
Shane Byrne, Cal Crutchlow and Sylvain Guintoli followed in sixth, seventh and eighth, ahead of Leon Camier and Ruben Xaus, the latter going tenth despite suffering a fall.

Max Biaggi continue to indicate that they could be in for a tough race day after only managing 12th and 17th best.
