WSBK » Form man Baz back on familiar ground

Loris Baz looks to maintain his momentum following his podium winning turn last time out at Silverstone.
Form man Baz back on familiar ground
Fresh from his claiming his first-ever World Superbike Championship podium last time out at Brno, Loris Baz is looking to consolidate his impressive form with a similar performance on familiar ground at Silverstone.

The young Frenchman became the latest rider to take to the WSBK podium in the Czech Republic, in doing so joining Tom Sykes in making it two Kawasaki riders on the rostrum since 1998.

Though he has previously gone to meetings needing to adapt to circuits aboard a Superbike, Baz arrives at Silverstone with some prior knowledge following his stint in the British Superbike Championship during 2010 and 2011.

“I know Silverstone from when I raced in Superstock and from BSB and I like the track; it is really good. It is also difficult because it has fast sections, slow sections, changes of direction and lots of changes in speed. I am looking forward to it especially after the good weekend we had in Brno, so we need to confirm this now.

“I look forward to going to England again because I speak English almost every day now and we communicate inside the team to work in English because everyone understands it.”
