Lundh, Grotzkyj to Pedercini Kawasaki for 2013?
Pedercini Kawasaki has hinted that it is close to a deal that will see Alexander Lundh and Simone Grotzkyj ride its ZX-10R in the World Superbike Championship next season.

Issuing a press release to reflect on a 2012 season that yielded top ten finishes at World Superbike level and a title-challenge with Bryan Staring in the Superstock 1000 Cup, Pedercini goes on to reveal Lundh and Grotzkyj as its intended line-up for next season.

Lundh's inclusion in the line-up comes after he pariticpated in the final four events with Pedercini Kawasaki, the Swede coming on board as the replacement for Leandro Mercado. In that time Lundh, who has credits in World Supersport and Moto2 competition, notched up four 14th place finishes.

Grotzkyj, meanwhile, has spent much of his career in the 125GP championship, his best season coming in 2011 when he scored a best finish of eighth on the way to 16th position overall. This year he raced a part-season in Moto3 with Ambrogio Next Racing.

Currently sourcing the budget before officially confirming its rider line-up, Pedercini also signalled its intentions to run an unchanged team at Superstock 1000 level with Staring, who won three races on the way to third overall in 2012, and Mercado.

They had Corti in the last race, who took this team's best result of the year, and they have Bryan Staring. Yet they want Lundh and Grotzkyj for a full year. Maybe the bike is not the worst in the field, but their ununderstandable rider choice makes them the weakest link.

@ Ben1

My thoughts exactly.
When is Bryan Staring going to get fed up of this??? If I were him I'd pack my bags and look elsewhere. Also, Corti was a revelation on that bike!

If they didn't want those, I would still pick Sheridan Morais over either Lundh OR Grotzkyj.

Their choices make NO sense whatsoever!!!
