After a positive half-season with PRORACE Honda, Gabor Talmacsi will get a full season with the Czech team in 2013.

Former 125GP World Champion Gabor Talmacsi will make a full-time switch to the World Supersport Championship for 2013 after agreeing to stay on board with PRORACE Honda.

Talmacsi made his WSS debut six rounds into the season and quickly emerged as a consistent top ten contender on privateer Honda machinery, the Hungarian picking up a best result of sixth position at the Nurburgring.

Hauling himself up to 13th in the final standings, despite missing several events, Talmacsi has decided to tackle a full campaign with the Czech-based team in 2013.

"With the experience gained this year we will start the 2013 season with an intense winter testing programme and with the knowledge that we can express our best potential,” he said. “I have a lot of faith in the team and I am sure we'll have a great opportunity to work well together and score some excellent results."

PRORACE were surprise race winners in 2012 after Lorenzo Lanzi scored an unexpected victory in the wet at Assen. Despite this, the race would prove Lanzi's only appearance WSS all season.
