The British Superkart Association stand at the Autosport International show attracted a lot of visitors potentially interested in joining the BSA's championships in 2013.

BSA chairman Rob Willshire; RG Racing driver Gary James; Darley Moor instructor Terry Bateman and series manager Ian Rushforth were present to answer questions. So were MSA champion Paul Platt and 125 Open champion Danny Edwards. Other drivers who turned up were Ben Willshire, Peter Bennett, Steve Burton, Trevor Roberts and Ben Davis.

Edwards's F1-TM, Platt's PVP-Honda and an Anderson-DEA belonging to Gavin Bennett, triple European Champion were on display. A TV screen showed the MSA rounds covered by Motors TV at Oulton Park, Snetterton, Croft and the BSRC round at Donington Park.

MotorsTV will provide live coverage of the first race of the MSA championship which will be at Castle Combe in May.

Platt and Davis were later interviewed on the karting stage by Henry Beaudette, the press officer for the Formula Kart Stars championships. He called them "the fastest men in British karting" and they talked about their objectives in the MSA championship for 2013.

The superkarts will have tests at Oulton Park and Silverstone before the different championships begin.
