Before anyone writes in and starts having a go, I would just like to say what a great drive from Matthew Wilson. He has shown that if you consistently drive at a steady pace you can pick up points. A sterling effort young man! I would target maybe getting within 6mins of the winner next event and build speed from there!?

wtf. yes i am one of the many who thought wilson was only in the ford because of his father, but he has now had a few reasonable results. however, dont forget that he is getting his results due to others having problems and the lack of real wrc cars. but in the end,it is results that matter and at least he is finishing. once again it is a joy to watch the skills of loeb. it is up to others to catch him, and this will come sooner or later, even though he may retire from wrc first!

You know what ive just realised - WRC is dead! It was on a life support machine there for a while but now its actually gone!

Id rather watch a clubman rally than this boring load of predictable rubbish.

Were there only 3 runners in the JWRC class? If so that's not good! Not only are there so few competitors in the top class, there's also noone coming up through the junior ranks!

What channel is the IRC on...?

Im starting to look forward to next year and 2011 when they bring in the new cars and turn everything on its head.
Will be good to see more manufacturers and more seats for the likes of Solberg.
Then well see just how good Loeb really is, if he still dominates then ...... well that will be impressive.

WRC is in a sad sad state, he's more than capable of winning every round this year.

I liked Hirvonens comment...."what are you going to do now"..."I'm going back to the hotel for a beer"...what a daft question, he looked well p****d off.

Great effort by Petter again.

Wilson's 5th place again was due to others retirements.

IRC coverage would be good.

WTF, are you kidding ? Matt Wilson was defeated by Villagra, he finished more then 2 minutes off his teammate Henning Solberg, without having suffered the smallest problem.

Without the engine problems of Petter Solberg, Mikko Hirvonen, Jari-Marri Latvala, Sebastien Ogier, he would have been the last WRC car.

After each rally I read unbelievable press releases about his great performance but what actually remains is that he is incredibly slow, considering the machinery, the team and the experience he has.

I know at least 10 Finn, Norwegian or Swedish drivers who would do much better with that car.

Daddy should find him a seat in the British domestic series. Not sure he wins there
