i reckon itll be a two way fight for the monte between hrivonen and ogier, with meeke third.

i just dont think meeke is as fast as the wrc guys becuase think who he had to beat in the irc last year kopecky, loix and sarrizan - all wrc flops

The Fiesta has struggled with the homologation and news from Monte is the cars will not be eligible to score any points, Mikko maybe running as the zero / course car

Both Fiestas allowed to start but unsure on what basis - no official statement from M-Sport yet but some 'issue' seems to have come up.

Meanwhile, times for 'Prologue' which I guess is shakedown?

Gardemeister
Voulloz +1.2
Kopecky +3.3
Meeke +7.5
Hirvonen + 12.6
Hanninen +14.8
Wittmann +15.1
Wilks +18.9
=Bouffier +18.9
Sarrazin +20.7
Ogier +22.0

Although the prologue is timed these times do not count towards the final result, however the top 10 times give a starting order.

If you are fastest on the prologue then you start 10th on the road for event proper. 2nd fastest you start 9th and so on.

While we shouldn't be surprised, the dearth of coverage in the papers is disappointing. This is the 'Monte'- the oldest, most famous Rally in the world, and with more history than the Monaco GP.
