@John Kilbride

I can see where your coming for, Solberg was supposed to be getting that ride and you could argue it's a complete joke he's running a privateer outfit again (I think he'll do well) or Meeke deserves a run in WRC but money talks.

The draw to Red Bull & Citroen for having Kimi involved was far to big to ignore, as a long time rallying & F1 fan I'm happy to see Kimi in a WRC car, the series needs something to draw fans in as it's been dying on it's **** for yonks. Proper stages and not re-running the same stages time again would also be nice. Thanks to DR, WRC sold it's soul to TV a long time back.

Having Kimi involved can only improve the interest in the sport.

Totally agree with Taz here.

In the 3 years, I've frequented the Crash site, not once did I ever give the Rally section a glance...until Kimi moved.

Now I feel hyped because I'm discovering a new sport. Something new to learn, read up on and get obsessed with.

Coming from a Yank I mean no disrespect to the new WRC fans out there, but do watch it at least on TV! We here in the States have lost that luxury on our main racing channel due to re-runs of 30 year old NASCAR races :? However we do get to watch the season re-capped on another channel, but it is not the same... All the best Kimi give em a show!

Kimi's job is to save WRC, not to save some mediocre rally drivers career.

The only rallying I watched on TV last year was Rally Finland. Now I can barely wait for the season to start. So from my viewpoint Kimi is doing a pretty good job at the moment.

Johnny U - I too miss MotorSport Mondial on Speedvision, when they used to air WRC.

It's now shown on HD Theater which is great, beautiful HD! They also air the Isle of Man TT races on there (which also has some amazing footage!). Wonderful footage, but the actual coverage is spotty. They just show some footage and then tell the results, not the same way it used to be on Speedvision. Better than nothing though.
