damn i was hoping for a good result for Petter.

I see wilson has 7th claimed as per usual. How did he get rear ended by petter? sounds like wilson should have pulled over if petter was that close.

Yeah, same old, same old is'nt it really.

How funny though, Matty getting rear ended by Petter.

Seems Petter was first to hit trouble, going off the road losing four minutes and damaging the rear of his car. He gets going again, gets caught by Matty Wilson. Wilson got past soon after - when Petter went off again - then 8km from the finish, Matty stalls his Ford on a corner and is rear-ended by Petter's C4.

Would love to have seen it !

Matty now 8th overall (makes a change from 7th !), 3m 21.1s behind Hirvonen.

Is it me, or has he got slower over the winter ?

Will be interesting to see if Petter can gain 3m 24s on him and overhaul him by close of play tomorrow :p

I know we slate Matt on here, but seriously, he's in the 5th year of a 5 year plan.
Last year on the opening day he lost about 1m30 - 2m to the leader. So I was expecting him to lose about a minute today, seeing as now he's off the leash, and maybe set some top 6 times.
Not a bit of it, over 3m40 off the pace. In fact not a lot quicker than Kimi, who's only in his 6/7 Rally.

If Loeb wins this one that would be one severe blow for the Finn already. Seb will try but I also see him starting safely with a second place in a rally where Mikko was somewhat favourite...
