Congrats to Hirvonen on winning the Swedish but its a shame Loeb did not win.

I must say Magnus Samuelsson probably impressed me the most with his 36th place finish on his rally debut. :)

Disappointed with Gronholm and Raikkonen's result and Petter Solbergs 9th place was very embarrassing. Even Matty Wilson beat him. LOL

Congrats also to Ford in now overtaking Lancia as the most successful team in terms of WRC wins with 74 victories. :)

Well Done Hirvonen. 2 rallies into 2010 and he's already won both the IRC and WRC openers. Loeb seems a little bit stumped as to where the speed came from this weekend as well, so he's clearly being pushed hard. A good sign for the 2010 season I'd say.

Well done Hirvonen and Lehtinen, but to be honest anything other than victory would have been a disappointment. Considering that there are more asphalt rallies in this years calender they had to win in Sweden or the championship would have gotten to a really bad start. This is taking nothing away from their superb performance, just saying things the way they are. on the other hand it was a bit disappointing that Latvala could not challenge Loeb as snow would probably have been the best surface to do that. He needs to take some second places behind Hirvonen this year or Loeb will probably win the championship again as Sordo can challenge for second places on tarmac.

Seemed like Hirvonen has caught up on Loeb step by step and they're on the same level now. Latvala ain't so far off either. This could be an interesting season. Also looking forward to see how Kimi progresses. At least he was faster than Rossi on his last rally, if you don't count the 26 minutes that he lost being stuck in the snow, even though is less experienced.

Let's not forget this was probably the most favourable round for Hirvonen. Had Loeb won there, it would have been a significant slap in the face for the Finn.

Well done to Mikko and Ford nonetheless.

First off well said by observer.

Hirvonen did it, he got a lot Braver !!

He needs to believe in himself more now.

Hopefully this will give him more Confidence when it comes to beating Seb. It was Bizzare to see Seb face all weekend, you could see he was shocked and dissapointed that he couldnt catch the pixie

it was also good to see Fords plan working with Latvala getting onto the Podium ahead of Sordo.

Hirvonen needs to work Really hard this year as his biggest task is yet to come, he will need to try and get 2nd place on the Tarmac rounds and win as many Gravel Rallies if he is to be this years Champion

Because If Seb cant win he will almost certainly always be 2nd

Brilliant Mikko. Pure speed and bravey done that. Let's hope he carries the form onto gravel now. Interesting to see if he can get any closer on tarmac as well.

SLow start for JML but good result in the end. Hopefully being designated no.2 will take some pressure off and let him perform.

Wrecklss from Kimi but you'd expect that. The important thing is the speed is there and he'll get much better quickly.

Should be a great season
