There will always be a fight on but sadly for Mikko it is futher down the order. I was dissapointed Mikko couldnt make up a hand full of seconds to catch Danny on the Final day

Ford have lost their way a bit and I think the Citroen is clearly the better car at the moment

Fords Drivers are also not firing on all cylinders. I think Citroen have the right approach and should be commended for bringing on Ogier

Citroen are strong with a good car and all the best drivers. Ford need to do more to gain back some of the ground lost to Citroen in the past 2 seasons

They need to be investing more in young promising drivers so they are not left gasping for breath like they are currently

I think this championship is already a lost cause for Ford. If anyhting, they should be concentrating in the development of the 2011-spec Fiesta. The C4 is unbeatable and, with the momentum that the Citro├źn drivers are exhibiting, it is even more so. The only way Ford can break this is by creating a much better car for next year, because if they don't, History will repeat itself.

I think the car is fine. It's mikko who is the issue. His head just isn't in the right place. In sweden he was excited and confident. Now he just looks flustered and lacks confidence.

I don't ever really see him as a champion, he just doesn't have that confidence or attitude.

Jarri on the other hand is a future champion and just needs to be given more support from the team. Malcom needs to stop messing with his head. Just tell him that his job is to win rallies. Mikko's job is to score points.

@ Runnah

Very well said, particularly regarding Jari.

Latvala has the raw pace to win rallies. Malcolm should back him and let him drive his own rallies - stop f***ing with his head. Just like DR backed Colin at the same stage in his career. OK he'll have a big shunt now and again, but it's all part of the learning curve.

Mikko's a nice guy, but he been in the Ford works team for long enough. I would be considering a change at the end of the year. It's hard, but there are quicker drivers out there who could do a better job.

I don't think the Focus is as fast as the C4, but the drivers are the biggest issue. The Stobart drivers are a waste of space and offer no support !

Mikko is probably the Best number 2 driver out there so he would never be let go.

There are no Real up and coming drivers out there who could slot in to the either Seat easily anyway.

Ford need a Fast Number 1 and that Guy is Jari Matti

My opinion is to give him more testing and have him do and win Other Rallies to make and keep him sharp and confident.

Please dont let this be the lid off the can of worms, but the Stobart Ford Team should be Fords toe in the water team to test up and coming drivers out so the BP Team have a pool to pick from. These drivers should have water toght contracts unlike Petter did in year 2000.

Matt should really represent Munchis with Viagra.
