The World Rally Championship will consist of 13 rounds next year, but could see rival teams running different tyre brands following the decision to open up supply deals.

Finally some common sense from the FIA.
Who's decision was to remove the co-drivers names from the car in the first place and great will see multiple tyre manufacturers back in the game.

Well, the tire war was one of the main reasons of Petter Solberg's poor performance at Subaru some years ago. This particular aspect of the car is so influential that, in my opinion, it should be equalized.

Thomas, I understand it was that muppet Max Mosely that did it. His reason was as the cars passed, the spooters couldnt make out who the driver was so they removed the co drivers name to make the drivers name bigger.

What a muppet. The Co Driver is just as important and should be named as such.
