This is the problem facing the WRC

If Citroens new DS3 is the better car then Ford could decide to pull out of the WRC if it cant get any wins, this would leave Citroen all alone currently

That would probably see Citroen pull out too if they were left alone. ford need to make sure that this new Fiesta is a pace setter. They also need to re think their driver strategy.

Next Season they need to switch and have JML as team leader and Mikko scoring solid finishes like when Marcus was Number 1

Ogier deserves to be an A team driver though. He had driven so well this season. Maybe Ford should now recruit Sordo to help them develop the Fiesta into a Performer on Tarmac and win

sensible move by citroen. sensible move by ogier

dafydd, if the ds3 is better than the fiesta, which is likely, ford shouldnt pull out, but they should ditch wilson and reopen boreham! but there will be other works cars next year. prodrive mini has been confirmed!

oh and by the way, sordo is staying with citroen, so unless ford offer him a lot to break his contract, they have no hope of getting him. anyway, he would be silly to move to such a badly managed team!

Oh dear...!

sordo was deprived on chasing Loeb on tarmarc and loeb was hiding him the tricks to get the most of the car...

loeb is helping Ogier this year more than he did with sordo and we know sordo's pace in burgaria was not genuine...

they manufactured to ditch him......

Ford have been developing the Fiesta for longer, it's not a foregone conclusion the DS3 will be quicker out of the box. They do have the strongest driver line-up though and know how to build a rally car....shame this doesn't translate to their road cars :p

Like a say, Ford should get Solberg and have a three works driver line-up...assuming the FIA allows it. If next year is a walk in the park for the DS3 surely m-sport is on borrowed time with Ford ?

I hope Ford don't leave, WRC would be totally screwed, why would Citroen stay as Dafydd said ? what's the point in beating yourself, hardly a great marketing tool....and thats what WRC is to a manufacturer.

Ford blew it big time. They should have done everything to get Ogier on the team. The would be fools not to sign on Solberg after the seasons he haas had.

New car or not I don't see JML or mikko stopping thw two sebs and a solberg next year.
