Really good to see them join but a shame that it isnt a full programme of events next year but im guessing thats because bmw were a bit tight when it came to funding therefore delaying the project. But wrc 2012 should be good if vw also decide to join

Hope for the WRC!!! - Unregistered

Can only be good news for the WRC. Hopefully a few more manufacturers will be encouraged to join. Further Championships of just Ford - v - Citroen is just unacceptable. Although this was never Ford's or Citroen's fault.

It's good news, though how have BMW been persuaded to join a struggling series? They must know something we don't. But I wish them luck, the CitroenFord duopoly needs to be broken.
As for drivers, they surely must use a British driver, the sport at WRC level is on it's backside in this country. Kris Meeke would be a perfect choice, however, he has a PSA contact, Guy Wilks?? There are also young Irish hot-shoes Keith Cronin??, Craig Breen?? But maybe a bit early for them.
Hopefully this is the start of more Manufacturers joining. 5,6,7 Manufacturers with 3,4 seats would be fantastic. However, these S1.6T are still expensive, and currently the returns, in media terms are pathetic.

sorry runnah but you've got it the wrong way round subaru management loved petter but prodrive wanted shot off him but couldnt due to a long contract. i would be suprised if richards took him back but you never know as he's proved he was not the problem.
