I remember watching Fracois Delecour getting Angry when Panizzi was having Lunch with Corrado Proverra and Jean Pierre Nicolas maybe on this Rally, Panizzi was leading Francois, Delecour was Red Faced in Anger and Crying about something while Panizzi just sat there spitting out pips from whatever it was he was eating, it was Hilarious, He was Ice Cool.

I think that was the end of Delecour at that moment.

Panizzi had been accused of illegal recce by Delecour. It was well known that Gilles did this throughout his career. (A cheat some may call him, I saw it with my own eyes on French Championship round)

Complete maniac, that did Peugeot's reputation no good in WRC. Remember the time that he got overtaken by someone on Safari, then assaulted the driver of the car at the stage stop? Idiot.

By the by, is it doing Proton any good developing the car when they keep swapping the drivers about?

Good to see him back.

Rallying needs all the drivers it can get back who have genuine talent and were true characters.

Obviously a tarmac specialist, but as Richard says, that donut on the Catalunya was pure class.

YES YES YES I don't believe it....
The man who did a donut in Catalunya in a 206 WRC is coming back....

I spoke with Chris Mellors in Ypres and told him a lot of people want them to do well....Even more so now.
Can't wait....Just hope the car lasts the rally unfortunately.
