WRC » Solberg: It was under control – and that's no bulls**t

Petter Solberg: "It's been really good fun [today], Dani Sordo is a proper sportsman. I'm very happy to beat him in his home rally [and take second]. It's almost like a victory - although we have one more man to beat..."

Yeah, he should be quick in Wales. Would be great to see him get that much coveted privateer win.

For me, it would also be great to see him overhaul Latvala for 3rd in the championship just to show Malcolm what he is missing out on - I still can't believe he wont sign him.... Unbelieveable !!!

If im not mistaken, Malcom and Petter dont have the best relationship after year 2000 when Petter left Ford. In that way its not surprising he hasnt singned Petter.

Well there are two sides to every coin.

Malcolm could see the Huge Potential in Petter back then and was devastated when Petter deserted Ford to join Subaru

But then again so was Prodrve when Richard Burns abandoned ship for Peugeot right after winning the Title with them, but he was on his back to Subaru when his illness struck at he end of his Peugeot visit

I think the difference is that Business is Business and maybe Malcolm should consider what is right for Ford and M-Sport, I think 10 years is enough sentence

I think Petter would have a good chance of winning the title in a Fiesta. Jari Matti and Solberg would be a very strong paring, Mikko could slip into the Stobart team and give them some much needed strength

who does petter think he is fooling. That fact that he brought up the bullsh1t comment must be because he himself thought he was talking it. i was watching a bit of the rally on tv and petter was most certainly pushing. he was going wide and off line a good bit. Im not knocking the result but why doesnt he admit he was flat out. That kind of driving is what makes rallying attractive. Loeb is very boring to watch, so precise and on line always. A bit of flat out style and sideways action is what it should be about.

I wish Mini or Ford would sign up Petter - he has what it takes man!!

Malcom Wilson is just not good enough - he never once impressed me and probably never would! He happens to be the son of someone who is the Boss of Ford M-Sport! "Don't worry son, I'll make sure you have a car for next year" "Thanks daddy for the best xmas present!"

Yeh, Fairplay, thats a fair old comb over !

I like that Petter has warned Ogier to guard his 2nd overall in the Championship and that He and Jari Matti are coming...

Could this be a message for next year delivered early

I do think Petter could win GB but I also think that Ogier can get a solid enough result to stay within 16 points of Petter.

But if Jari gets more than 11 points clear of Ogier that must be his biggest worry. If Jari wins and Petter is 2nd Ogier has to be third, maybe Mikko can do some good this year after all and fill that spot giving 2nd oveall to Jari Matti

Big Battle coming up here Guys !!
