Hmm, where's the early starts, and late finishes? Hardly any dark running.

Be interesting to see what added coverage Kimi brings, if any. Clashing with the F1 decider is foolish.

You can't see sponsor banners in the dark, hence no night stages.

The last rally in a season that already has it's champion crowned and the only fight is for the runners up spot? Is it any surprise everyone will be watching F1?

I'd prefer it if they got out of the boring Welsh stages and went back into Kielder, Yorkshire & Scotland like they used to back in the Lombard RAC days. That would give the fans more of a chance to see the cars and provide a wider choice of stages.

Runnah I'm surprised - "Everyone will be watching F1"?? - no true rally fan would demean himself by watching F1 surely? a procession at best and as Kimi proves not as tough as WRC even in the WRC's modern day soft and cuddly "no night stages" no major mileage form.

@whodunit.

While you may be right - the press, media will be concentrating on the F1 - the WRC can't compete with F1, so why are they running on the same weekend. To a casual motorsport fan, this weekend means F1!! There was a time when a casual motorsport fan would follow the old Lombard RAC, either on TopGear RallyReport or at one of the spectator friendly stages. The sport has completely lost the plot, and lots of supporters.
