WRC » Hirvonen out to win in Wales

Mikko Hirvonen: To end the car's career with a win and take the final victory of the World Rally Car era would be fantastic. The problem is that every driver has the same thought! The championship titles are settled and so everyone can drive for victory.

Agree, his confidence is low. Latvala has the edge in terms of speed and also seems to be be keeping it on the road. I just hope Malcolm Wilson lets Latvala off the leash as I think he can take the challenge to Ogier/Loeb especially as his tarmac abililty is improving and that Fiesta looks like it will fly on the black stuff!

@richard I wouldn't be surprised if Matt's contract was renewed next year as his dad thinks he's great as he always brings the car home - eventually. How the hell can stobart keep throwing money away like that when they could get epic coverage if the likes of Meeke or Wilks were given a go. Sad

slightly. if you follow rallying, why are you not "completely...."

matt earlier said that he was looking for a drive in 2011, so maybe stobart is finally seeing sense, although i am sure that daddy will do everything in his power to retain him. maybe , when he wins on sunday, we will hear more!
