My heart goes out to Kimi and his family :(((

I do hope he goes back to rally tho at least he will have more "personal time" than when he was in F1 and the distraction will probably help him eventually ... this really is to awful

I too am sorry for Kimi's unexpected sudden loss of his Father, only 2 days before Christmas. My prayers are with him and his family. I will also add a few prayers about where he goes from here.... :)

Crash, why can't you just report the story as it is, especially using something so tragic to bump up page clicks. His co-driver simply said plans are on hold, of course they are, the drivers dad just died, doesn't mean he's about to quit driving FFS and it's wrong to use someones death to sensationalise a story.

Kimi, you can't give up on your passion just because of this situation. Your dad would have told you to continue racing no matter what happened to him. Stay strong and don't quit.

Well John, WTF is that stupid statement meant to mean. He has not got to be world champion by being dumb. Of course he, like all of us, know that. However it doesnt make it any easier to swallow. He must have been close to his father throughout his career, and will certainly miss him.
