Is their much point showing this, who will be able to watch it on tv, not many, a new era in rallying, and some numb nuts puts it on a channel no one I know has heard of, tv license, plus £30 per month sky, still cant get epsns or what ever its called, rallying will die just like other sports that the mass public cant watch, boxing, darts etc, Dave in England was ok, race, behind the scene, driver chats, I give up, its a massive backward step for rallying, end of. javascript:insertTextCursor('comment',%20':?')

Mad mitch,
Spot on there, also the WRC site is useless with poor daily round ups of the rally-that's after the site actually loads.
I remember when North One took over they were talking about a new era for the sport and how they would do everything in their power to make it like the turn of the century. I actually thought they would make it much better.
Bullsh1t, frankly

ESPN will be free this coming weekend for Rally Mexico. So you'll be able to see it then. Plus the only reason the wrc.com was slow for Rally Sweden is because there was massive interest in it and the system got overloaded. Rally Radio apologised for this.

I don't see why people are complaining about having to pay for ESPN. If you really want to watch the rally highlights on TV then buy it. And if you don't then just go online. There are numerous sites with videos and new being updated daily. So I don't really see where the problem is.

@Craig

You can't see the problem ??

The less people the sport is exposed to will be to the sports detriment long term.

Hell, touring cars is shown on ITV and it's pretty cr4p these days.

You have to pay an extra cost for ESPN on sky even if you have the sports package.

Would you be happy to pay to watch F1 ? And I'd actually like to watch it on a TV rather than having to squint at a laptop...unless I stream it to the TV and that's a hassle.

It's not helping the sport, North one is ruining the sport....even more than Dave Richards did !

I agree with Taz (apart from the bit about BTCC being crap). WRC just doesn't seem to know what to do with itself.

WRC is on Premier Sports. Does an ESPN subscription get you that? Either way it's another £7 a month and where do you draw the line?

For years WRC has done nothing that's mad me feel like it's worth waiting for the coverage rather than get the stage updates online or on teletext (when they do it). And yes, I really dislike the WRC website too. Poorly laid out, especially on a rally weekend. Admittedly the live last bonus stage was good (found a link online) so hopefully that continues providing it's a close finish down the field.

In my country we have no coverage at all - only DAFTCAR. I am alone in my interest in WRC. WRC website has best videos - when they load properly. At one time, Crash did stage-by-stage updates. Now not as many but wonderful comments regarding Matt Wilson.
