WRC » Petter Solberg: Start position could be key factor

Petter Solberg: I'm really looking forward to competing with the DS3 for the first time on gravel. We had one test day in France last week, where we focused on finding the best set up for the Mexican stages, and I'm confident we now have the best one.

I'm sure we will see a very strong performance from Petter as usual.
As for Henning, I'm not so sure. I'm a fan of his but ever since he was paired with Minor, he has gone downhill a lot.
Last year was a disaster as M Wilson nearly got double his points tally. Bring back Cato I say.

slightlysideways: Cato probably wants to invest his time with Brynildsen who might have a great future rather than of with Henning who, unfortunately, must be on his way out by now

@slightlysideways I agree with you, when Henning split up with Cato, I was very surprised, I didn't see a reason for him to go. I'm not trying to criticise Ilka, but I think his switch from Norwegian to English pacenotes wasn't the best move.

As for Petter, I've asked a couple of my mates for their predictions for this rally, and they have a lot of belief that he'll break his duck this weekend. It will be tough, but he has a chance. Maybe his Swedish driving ban will fire him up.

Yes really needs to break his duck then I think it'll open the floodgates for more....

I would liked to have seen him win with his xsara back in 09 though. That would have been hilarious to laugh at Ford. Was looking good in Finland that year for it till the strut went through the mount.
