I tried to find Hapless on the leaderboard. Obviosuly I skipped the top 3. Hapless suffers from vertigo and he'd get nose bleed on a podium. Given JML was super-rallying maybe Hapless would manage to match his Japan 07 result. But he wasn't there either. 5th may be? No. Ostberg with much less experience was 5th. 6th maybe? No, a Mini in its first outing finished 6th. This is getting silly. 7th maybe? No, into the Super 2000 finishers! And then I got bored looking. May be Hapless didn't start.

matt usually finishes around 7 mins behind the leader. this time he was over eight minutes behind. is he slowing down???

but good to see the mini in the mix. i didnt think that it was going to be instantly competitive.

Found him! In 9th! Still it'll be a "technically challenging event and I'm gaining valuable experience at this level". Interesting that in his 8th season competing on WRC events Hapless doesn't even make the Stobart team, that honour falling to Ostberg, PG Tips etc. If his dad doesn't even place any faith in him why should the viewing public. Utter disgrace to all concerned.

Great performance from Seb - another masterclass in driving first on the road for three days.
Also, promise from the Mini - better things to come i hope.

As for Wilslow - why bother? He's become a complete irrelevance in the WRC!!!
However, as long as Malcolm/Stobart are happy, who are we to question this farce!

I see normal service has resumed: Lots of jealous Brits who cant help but talk about Matt Wilson even tho he's really slow.
Why do you guys care so much ? There is no difference between Wilson or Al Qassimi, Villagra, Block and Solberg. They all pay for their own seats.

Thats because we like rallying and want to see a Brit who represents us try a bit harder at least.

Kris Meeke was running when before his car issues, we just want to see someone trying their hardest.

Maybe Matt can't afford to bin the car, I don't know but his performances generally just send us into a coma.

@ Taz

OK fair enough, I can understand patriotism. I dont have any countrymen to support in the WRC......yet, Paddon is on his way up, hopefully he makes it.

Must be time to give up on Matt tho isnt it ?
