The whole idea was ridiculous from the start - more artificially induced "excitement" at the expense of the integrity of the sport, just like in Formula One.

At least with no Bernie Ecclestone around they have come to their senses for next year.

How bout : No split times or finishing times communicated to the drivers during the stages.
If they dont know other drivers times they cant play tactics.
Or even better : bring back gravel cars.

If they know its a problem and are changing the rules for 2012 why cant they bring them now in time for the next round or is that too simple ??

When a team you won multiple championships with goes behind your back to give your team mate an almost unassailable advantage I think you have the right to have a moan..
