It will be interesting to see the colour scheme on the Actual car, the one in the picture is a Denim Car, this was the early WRC programme colour scheme pictured above on Sweeden in 92 where he was 2nd

I think the Actual car is in Rothmans colours from the British Championships that he won in 91 and 92. I still think that these cars sounded the best, especially when driven by McRae famously flat out

The other car that sounded nice, also from that Era was the Toyota Celica ST165, there are loads of good videos of these on Youtube in Fina and Bastos Colours

Aah, the Good old days when you had to throw the car around before Electronics took over and cars got smaller !

Actually if memory serves me right (it usually doesn't) he had the Rothmans Legacy in his collection along with 1st a rally car, a Sunbeam Lotus.

93 was a Good Year for Colin as he won his 1st WRC Rally in New Zealand in a Legacy RS and this was the start of the myth of Motu Road where every year Colin would somehow win the stage by over 30 and sometimes 40 seconds

He was second to Kankkunnen on the RAC in the new Impreza until he holed the Radiator in Pundershaw I think. That was a Really Good year for WRC, his futire Co Driver Nicky Grist sat next to Juha Kankunnen who was World Champion that year, but sadly Nicky didnt sit with him for a full season and didnt win the Co drivers pot

It will be nice to see his car being driven, although maybe Alaister may be better suited at throwing the Legacy around for the fans to watch with excitement, old Jimmy must be getting on a bit now - lol

If in doubt, go flat out.

Grew up as a huge fan of McRae's. Loved his style of always pushing to the maximum no matter what. One of those drivers that was never happy to just settle for the points.

It's a real shame what a joke the WRC has become. It died in the very early 00's in my opinion.

Would like to go down to this just to see the Legacy in action, but not able to. Rubbish.
