WRC » Ogier 'happy' with Citroën – 'for the moment'

Comments from both Sébastien Ogier and Malcolm Wilson in Australia have shed little light on where the former will likely be driving in 2012, with the Frenchman insisting he is 'happy...for the moment' at Citroën and the Englishman stressing that Ford's own WRC future is his priority

Why would he want to quit Citroen anyway? He is lined up for a few championships there the way things are going, to move to Ford at this stage would not be a good option for him. Although Ford really could do with him- someone who is consistent!

I don't know why people want Ford to quit the WRC. Sure, they're not at the same level as Citroen but people always used to give out about how there were never enough manufacturers at the top level. Then when we finally get a fourth manufacturer in, people want Ford to pull the plug all of a sudden. I hope they don't quit. And I'm sure that Ford's customers i.e Ostberg, Block, Novikov and Tanak don't want them to quit either. Citroen won't provide customer-cars, MINI can't and Volkswagen won't be able to for another while yet.

I don't think any serious rally fan wants Ford to quit the WRC, it would make a pretty poor championship (in recent years) a lot worse. WRC needs Ford to stay.

Ford is not the problem...is Stobart still in charge?

Well then we can expect the usual broken power steering, diff, drivetrain, gearbox, handbrake, wheel, tires, etc. You take your pick.

So sad for Ford... Oh well, GO MINI. Give us something to shout about!

Moody, arrogant and very fast !
He knows where is well off despite the differences at Citroen.
Dont believe he is as good as Loeb due to the fact Loeb ends up having to sweep the road for him on day 2 of quite a few rallies. (Stupid rule where you get penalised for being fast and driving well)
