For those who think Ford didn't have the pace this weekend I recomend them to think again , without the loose time on stage 3 Jari-Mati Latvala could be the winner by 2.1 sec in front of Ogier!! (that if you eleminate the time penalty for the jump start and the penalty for helping Hirvonen)so go to the stage times and see because time stage never lie !!

As for Hirvonen ...well... he need some tarmac lessons from Latvala ... CLEAR !!

Peter Solberg was excluded from the rally, the reason beeing the car was to lite(min weight 1200kg) his was 1196kg.
This puts Mikko"the slow" Hirvonen in first place joint whit Loeb.
What a luck **

Although its exiting to have 3 drivers fighting for the title i feel that if hirvonen wins it will be rather hollow as all season long hes been slow & inconsistant and the only reason hes in contention is because of jm latvala who is twice the driver hes is. So i would like to see ogier win as he has single handedly made the wrc exiting this year!!!

Hirvonen-haters take note: he is well ahead of jml in the standings not just due to him slowing down. MH has finished every rally so far this yr with a reasonable amount of points, when you consider the trouble the car gave and the fact he is level with Loeb, that's not half bad.
Ogier has won five, yes five events as opposed to Mikko's two and is still behind him.
This forum is very pro-jml anti Mikko, imo jml's consistency still isn't there in minding the car and keeping it on the road.
Anything can happen, thank f*** the wrc is exciting again

@ Mrploppy

I could agree more! I can just imagine IF Hirvonen wins (he won't since Loeb, Ogier and Latvala are faster, and especially with one tarseal event left), Malcolm Wilson will come out with a comment "Hirvonen did well to win the title, and this shows how fast and successful M-Sport and Ford are, Hirovnen and Ford deserved this"

Really? Currently Citroen 9 wins, Ford 2 wins? Beaten by Mini twice on tarseal? Latvala slowing to let Hirvonen win/get points? Really??? Deserve to win??? What ever you say Malcolm!

Wow some real bitterness from mrploppy there! - "lets imagine what may or may not be said should certain events occur in the future however unlikley and get all upset about them."

I could speculate what mrploppy will write next but I won't. I'm sure it'll be as interesting and informative (sic) as his last comment...

bitterness????? it was just my honest opinion!!!!
as a rule i would like to see anyone bar loeb win just for a bit of variety, so if anyone bar him wins(including hirvonen) i will be happier than anyone becuase seeing someone winning 8 times in a row is not entertaining unlike this season which has been fantastic

@hmm

Don't think he's been bitter, it's a reasonable comment. Hiroven drove poorly. he needs to up his game and his hunger if he's going to win the WDC, Loeb won't just give it away.

It seems the team is backing Loeb, will Ogier break team orders ? it's not very harmonious in that team.
