Pleased that JML showed how quick the Fiesta is- Loeb is for sure the best driver in any car- but this weekend JML proved Loeb flatters the Citroen.
Looking forward to next season already. Hope Ford back JML as no.1 and with Mini also there abouts it should make this a more interesting championship. All we need now is for Ogier to move to a rival works team.

Besides, if you notice, the podium backdrop on the photo says "Turismo de Portugal", so it probably is an archive photo from the Portuguese Rally and not from yesterday.

IF and only IF Hirvonen wins the championsip what a perfect example of bringing the sport into disrepute.
Absolutely disgraceful how many times JML has HAD to take penalties this season to help Hirv. No way would Hirv be a worthy champ. This sort of farcical team management must stop.

The reason jml had to pull over for mikko is he is still too inconsistent with his driving (personally i am getting tired of him not being able to consistently keep it on the road. If jml was number 2 from the beginning of his Ford contract hirvonen would be champion by now for certain. Next year the team should back him number 1 though if mikko loses this yr's championship as his confidence will be low.

@ Brimar & Taz couldn't agree more !

If Hirvonen wins the championship it will be a farce. I used to like Malcolm, when he was a driver, but as a team principal he has done a lot of damage to our sport.

Constant team orders this year have made a mockery of the championship. Unusually this year, I will be hoping Loeb wins, as he DESERVES the championship.

And, as for that boy of Malcolm's, at least Stobart have pulled the plug. I would like to think that this will be the end of Hapless's sorry career, but I have an uncomfortable feeling that he will reappear next year, at the expense of some real talent.

Malcolm is only interested in the money he can make from the sport.

Hopefully for Loeb who will have to sweep in GB, Ogier can get in a position that would disrupt any Ford tactics. There's also the possibility of Loeb winning on his own but that won't be easy. In short, Ogier could really be Loeb's best friend...

Remember when Loeb got the time penalty and monstered the next stage McRae 1995 RAC style...he's more than capable of winning it himself.
