I've read that Eurosport have a three year contract. They'll be in charge of the TV coverage, internet coverage and the promotion of the championship. Plus The Guru will be joining them...for Monte Carlo at least.

I'd say it will be on British Eurosport. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be. Maybe the WRC coverage will take the place of some of the nonsense they put on that channel.

If they can get the cameras and logistics sorted out in time to cover it, I don't think they would have too much difficulty at this time of year finding a few transmission slots for it. Eurosport schedules are never written in stone anyway.

There'll be no live coverage this year anyway. I wa son the Eurosport website there and it says there'll be a half hour highlights show every night from from the Wednesday until the Sunday. Suppose two and a half hours worth of coverage isn't bad on such short notice.

iRally app is reporting that Eurosport have done a deal with Julian Porter for end of stage interviews for Monte Carlo...

Wasn't the end of NOS a chance to ditch this dud once and for all???

Dud? He's hardly a dud...he's the voice of the stage ends. He needs to be there. It's like not having Paul King doing the commentary. It'd just be weird. The Guru is part of the furniture of the WRC now.

Why would Julian be a Dud Ryan ??

The Guy has huge knowledge of our Sport and he can also still peddle a car at a decent pace, hardly a Dud !

I think he deserves his place at Stage end interviewing the stars or our Sport.
