Don't try them speeds in wales petter. The local law will have you before Fia know whats happening. More than twice the speed limit and he's told not to break it by more than 50% next time?

Solberg got caught in sweden last year for exactly that same thing. Come on Petter, if you get to play already all day long with a WRC , it shouldn't be that difficult to keep a calm foot inbetween stages. Dont give the rally haters an open door.

More than 20% would seem ample tolerance to me. It could well be argued that if he had to drive that fast to overtake a slower car, there was no need to overtake in the first place.

Big fan of Petters and especially his Monte Performance but he needs to calm down a bit...

last year in Wales at the two minutes silence he was revving his engine up and tooting his horn when the traffic was stopped by the Police in a village somewhere for the silence at the war memorial.

Coming from Norway he should be aware more than most of the sacrifices made to free his country from Hitler.

For Fitz :

I was in a Cafe in Dolegllau when the 2 minutes silence took efect on Rally GB. I didnt know what was happening either, there was no proir mention of it, it was very sudden. You cant Blame Petter for revving his engine and tooting his horn, he clearly wasnt aware either

Also, Its sometimes difficult to get to the stage arrival on time and avoid a penalty - especially on a WRC event, I know this only to well, but Petter does seem to get caught more than others

I think he did a great job on the weekend, but he needs to be careful now, maybe restrict his Road section speed to 30% more than any given limit - lol

leave it out! poor petter was probably trying to overtake a frenchy who thought it would be funny to go really slow and try and get him a penalty because they were scared he might beat loeb!! haha GO PETTER GO.
