Awesome news!

Even though the Subaru was not balanced (see "Subaru is dead!" Pentti Airikkala 16 Oct 2008) he did outshine Petter and is a world-class, multi-surface driver.

Best of Luck Chris and Welcome Back!

Good to see Atkinson back in WRC, but why all the hints at an accident? I know Block is a bit of a crash-king, but Atkinson hasn't been so prone to accidents recently?

Well, the last WRC Event he did (Ireland 2009) he Bent a C4 around a Telegraph Pole nearly destrying the car, it narrowly survived a Major Cosmetic makeover in Service to allow him to get upto 5th place

He was not so Lucky However on his previous WRC outing on Wales Rally GB 2008 where he went off Really Hard on his Subaru Swan Song on the Night stage, He texted the Amazing pics from his phone to Mikko back at Ford Service and you could see from the pics on Mikkos phone that the Car was just a Total Loss

Ok, every Rally driver has crashes at some point but his last 2 WRC outings have seen him have Two Big accidents. Hopefully for him he will have a clean Run for M-Sport and get a decent Result, it will be interesting to see what he can still do, Top 5 maybe ??? Possibly Top 4.........

I believe he badmouthed Proton and how they work/develop last year.
No mention of the fact his teammate Alister McRae beat him to the 2011 Asia Pacific Championship either.

Yeah I'm getting a bit tired of him going on about his subaru days. I never thought he was anything special
