Bad mistake by Latvala but the Ford's were depressingly of the pace, looks like Latvala is pushing the limit to try and keep up.

Pretty much a forgone conclusion this year by the look of things, can't say anything negative about Loeb though.

Despite the big dissapointment for JML, I think he managed to beat the Citroens in pure speed, even when he wasn't on full throttle friday morning. So it's not about trying to be superfast to catch Loeb anymore, may be little more luck is necessary here.

Then if it's not "trying to ctach Loeb", what is it...?
Loeb is facter than everybody else, like it or not, he is the best ever...!
When he does 1 mistake, since no
one is perfect, the others do 2 or 3...!
He is still ahead, a super champ...!!!

I dont believe Latvala was over-driving when he crashed. I can understand his reason for the accident, from the footage it totally looked liked Novikovs car was in the middle of the road.

Taz this is not like you

As mentioned above Ford won 13 stages out of 22 that Latvala completed, 4 of these were micky mouse stages so really thats 13 out of 18 Real Stages, I would say thats the definition of Dominance

The fact that Latvala was 20 seconds faster than anything or anyone when he went off speaks volumes for his and the Fiestas Pace, also, I havnt seen the footage but it has been said that he went off avoiding Novikovs car which was in the middle of the road

I dont think he will be this years WDC but i do think he will win most of the remaining Gravel Rallies, he has been comfortably Leading every Rally so far, even Monte

Well so far Latvala has finished 1 of 3 Rallies. The other two he has crashed out. Good thing Petter is there to consitently get point and bring the car home in one piece.

I've said it from the beginning Petter should have been the number one driver and Latavala number two.

Anything could happen and being in a good points position could mean the difference between WDC and nothing. Petter didn't win that many Rallies in 2005, he just finished the most.

No, Latvalla didn't score any points this Rally (and Monte), but he's still the fastest driver last 8 months, and things looks promising for Ford this year.

I didn't really think he was overdriving when rolled over, looks like he was at his pace as the whole rally driving to 3rd place overall (I think he was mostly dissapointed when wasn't allowed to continue and fight for 3 more point in the Power stage), I saw the footage and Novikov's car seemed approaching to him quickly, so braking hard at this point doesn't look like tragedy, but ironically this turned as one as the car slided and he went off the driving line.

Anyway Loeb looks quite stable for now, may be he will still be champion this year, who knows?!? But for sure it won't be easy one.
