Solberg is likable, he's earned a WDC which few can say but he will not gain the form he used to have. He is past his prime. Though he will always be there or near the top 5 and may even win the odd rallye. To be really in the level of the "greats", one has to be a specialist on all services, both tarmac and gravel. He always seemed to be more or less a one-dimensional driver. Lastly, I always have trouble not seeing Solberg in Subaru blue!!

There may be more than luck involved here.

Consider this:

Loeb crashes out with no chance of re-start, creating an instant (and rare) opportunity for the win, more risks are taken and more drivers crash.

Looks like Loeb tactics to crash and force Latvalla and Solberg to take risks and crash will be in their favor anyway. If the weather conditions are similar (or worse) tomorrow, first running cars on the road will get 1 and a half minutes per stage at least. They only need more rain probably:)
