If the 3 stages wasn't canceled they would be around 30th place with no chances at all for good result. This way they are well placed to rush in the top 10 tomorrow or in Sunday. But another accident for Ford will be absolutely embarrassing.

shows how super rally is so stupid. why should two cars which both crashed out, be allowed in again with a good chance of gaining points?

apart from that, what has happened to rallying? the leading drivers cannot cope with bad conditions? more likely they just did not have the right equipment, yet the drivers lower down the ranks were persevering and able to cope.

Haven a bit of a drunken rant here but never seen the point of Super Rally. If the driver bins it he should be out, why not allow the cars to run again the next day but way down the order and put some up and coming talent in them purely for testing purposes only.

The cancellation of stages sounds more like poor organisation of the road sections between stages due to the weather than for 'safety reasons'. Didn't anyone look at the weather forecast, this isn't the first time these conditions have been seen on Rally Portugal. Mikko slowed and now leading...nuff said!
I am gutted for the Ford boys though.
